Rejected aircraft prototypes

The bachelor thesis focuses on seven rejected prototype aircraft that took part in tendering processes in Western Bloc countries during the Cold War. The development history of each of these aircraft is summarized, their technical properties are specified, the reason of their rejection is explored, and a comparison is made between them and the preferred aircraft. An assessment of gathered information is then made resulting in the conclusion that studying these rejected prototype aircraft can lead to valuable insights.

The fighter against revisionism. Václav Král in context of the Czech Marxist historiography

The thesis enagages in life and work the leading Czech historian in the second half of the 20th century. It doesn{\crq}t only try to describe a life and work of the scientist, it places him into the context of the development of the Czech Marxist historiography. It inquires into his statements, opinions and conviction. The author mostly used a rich personal fund of Václav Král, which is deposited in the Archives of the National Museum in Prague and then funds of the History Institute - Archives of the Charles University in Prague and the State Regional Archives in Hradec Králové. The other important sources are some of hundreds Král{\crq}s works. The author also used knowledges of the specialised literature, which describes history of historiography of the second half of the 20th century. Nobody has considered the personality of Václav Král in detail and his influence on the development of the Czech historiography yet and there are only rare informations about him. The author sees the biggest contribution in new and coherent knowledges, which the works grants. He opened a new topic in the history of historiography and pointed out certain questions, in which other historians can continue.

Employment of former fighters on the labor market

Title: Employment of former fighters on the labor market Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to research the employment of former professional fighters instance disciplines onthe labor market and to create recommendations for their employment on the labor market after the end of their sports career. Methods: Primary data collection was needed to fulfill the main objective of the thesis. The research used a quantitative method, specifically a questionnaire survey. An electronic questionnaire, which was distributed among former professional fighters, then provided the obtained data necessary for the subsequent interpretation of the results. In addition, the obtainedresults were enrichedwith a qualitative method,inthe framework of which structured interviews were also conducted with former professional fighters. Results: Employees from the ranks of former fighters are a specific group of employees who often enter the labor market with insufficient experience. The obtained results show that ex-wrestlers are competitive on the labor market compared to other employees due to the distinctive and specific personality traits and competencies acquired within the sports career.
